My husband apparently emailed the hotel in advance to inform that this is our honeymoon and they took great effort to surprise me with beautiful rose petals on the bed, flowers, and complimentary wine, chocolate, cookies, cake and fruits! The breakfast buffet is also most impressive and definitely not to be missed.
The hotel is just across the street from the train station and attached to a shopping centre, so location wise was great. As it is also significantly much taller than most buildings in Tainan so you get a great view from your room.
Overall it has been such a thumbs up experience that I will make it a point to stay in a Shangri-La hotel at least once a year.
