Master Bartender Tomoyuki Hojo × The Landis Taipei Exclusive Dining Event
Master bartender Tomoyuki Hojo has devoted many years to researching the history and evolution of Japan’s cocktail culture. He was also one of the early Asian bartenders to make a name for himself in a bartending world that was once largely dominated by Western practitioners.
Mr. Hojo hopes to create a space where both those who enjoy alcohol and those who do not can come together comfortably and share meaningful, enriching moments. Through his work, he also strives to elevate the overall level of Japanese dining culture and contribute to its continued renewal and evolution.
In collaboration with The Landis Taipei, two exclusive dining events will be presented. As a pioneer in incorporating tea into cuisine and creating tea pairing experiences, Tien Hsiang Lo joins master bartender Tomoyuki Hojo to reinterpret the possibilities of “tea pairing” from the perspective of mixology.
Through an intricate dialogue between tea, cocktails, and cuisine, this collaboration will deliver a new and immersive flavor experience, inspiring a broader imagination of food and beverage pairings.

Yokohama, Kanagawa, is one of the earliest cities in Japan to embrace Western culture following the opening of the country’s ports. Having cultivated his craft in this historic city, Mr. Hojo has developed a profound understanding of the evolution of Japanese cocktail culture.
At La Brasserie, this special collaboration will merge the refined aesthetics of the East with the traditions of Western spirits, creating a unique world of Japanese-French cocktails that embodies the harmony between two distinct cultures.
